For some reason, yesterday or the day before while I was shopping with mum... A little tamagotchi caught my eye..

(Actually probably only a cheap knock off as it was $2)



I looked through all of them and came across a red one, thinking to myself "I can remember having one of these when I was about eight! Which... I dropped in the pool and it died... But still!"



Soooo, I brought the little sucker!

It's 49 in 1.. And the first one I chose (A sea Otter) died... While I was sleeping! I didn't do it!



And I thought I'd share.. It reminds me of my days at my nans watching Carebears or Strawberry Shortcake... Playing with a cabbage patch doll... Making my brother let me win at street fighters :D Though I can't remember if I was eight or older for that last one.



I haven't thought about being a kid in AGES.. Wow :)



Look what a little $2 tamagotchi-ripoff can do :)

It hurts so much when you realise, you aren't as close to someone as you once thought.

Well, my little cousin (age 7) is still at school, holidays not for another week or so.



Yesterday, I got a phone call off my aunt, asking for my mum. She hung up pretty quickly so I then called my mum a little while after and she was on her way to the hospital. I, of course, asked what was going on and she told me Liam (little cousin) had swallowed a battery and she would update me later.



Me thinking.. a freaking battery???



Turns out, he'd picked it up near the bin at school (NOT HIS!) and put it in his mouth, had then been bumped from behind and swallowed the battery.

It was one of those little round ones.



Long story, short. He got the rest of the day off school, stayed with me until his mum finished work and I went on to call him the energiser bunny, as his dad did when his parents came to pick him up.
